Bulcan Standard
Compatible with Bosch Gen2, Gen3, and Gen4 motors
Installation Guide
It details how to turn off the eBike, remove the battery (if applicable), disassemble the motor cover (and crank arm if necessary), disconnect the original display, connect the Bulcan module between the motor and the display, and reassemble everything with tidy wiring.
User Manual
Includes how to pair Bulcan with your Garmin or compatible device using the eBike sensor search, and explains the transmitted fields:
- Mode of assistance (scale 0–7)
- Speed, total distance, and remaining range
- Battery level
- Cyclist and motor power (balance)
- Cadence, voltage, and motor and battery temperature (max/min 24h). Additionally, the "walk" button functions as a control to change pages on Garmin.

Bulcan Smart System
Exclusive for Bosch Smart System motors (2022 and onwards)
Installation Guide
Similar steps to the Standard, adjusted for the Smart System connectors: turn off eBike, remove motor/crank cover, disconnect the original white connector, connect the Bulcan aligning the marks, relocate the original connector in the module, and close the cover.
User Manual
Pairing guide identical to the Standard. Breaks down the transmitted data:
- Assistance mode (levels 0, 1, 3, 5, 7 corresponding to Off, Eco, Tour, eMTB, Turbo)
- Speed, total distance, and range
- Battery level
- Cyclist power vs motor power (balance)
- Cadence and voltage
- Motor temperature (from eBike) and battery temperature (from sensor). The "select" button on the eBike is used to change pages on the paired device.
